The problem with the most popular beaches of the world is that they are too popular. The commercialized beaches, filled to the brim with revelers, vendors, touts and all manner of souvenir sellers, if they lack something, lack a chance for isolation and seclusion. The beaches that the popular package tour operators love, do not offer much in the way of peace and quiet, and are mostly cluttered with resorts and all manner of development.
If a major part of your last beach holiday to a popular (populous!) destination, was spent in frustration trying not to collide into people, we all have something in common. If the tourist population gets too much for you sometimes, you have to consider some relatively unknown destinations that are known to very few on the tourist map. If some privacy is your only requirement, these beaches can offer you just that. Unpopulated by the tourist hordes, these beaches are unspoiled and pristine in the real sense of the words.
